Testimonials

I have been lucky enough to experience Paul's deep thinking about the contemporary workplace in his introductory career programs. Though I haven't completed his entire program, I have already begun to implement some of his directives and immediately began to get responses to my resumes and have had two very positive interviews. This after a long dry spell and literally hundreds of submissions. I have always hated interviews with potential employers and now I can honestly say that I have had the first enjoyable, and hopefully profitable, interviews in my life after following his formula for successful interactions. Paul offers a whole new view of working in the world, and I highly recommend him. He conveys his fierce insights with a lot of humor and passion, which makes what may seem like a bitter pill go down very well. Bravo!

I have attended ProLango workshops and networking events and I recommend them. Paul is differentiated from others in his field in that he is results oriented and addresses realistic issues. He is not one of the career advisers who only addresses the easy questions. He provides innovative suggestions from the field of psychology. He has superior organizational skills. He is helping to build a constructive professional community in the Seattle area.

- Linda Seltzer (Expert Digital Signal Processing Engineer)

Paul’s insight’s are powerful and multiple. He understands personal branding & coaching, how companies select talent, and how to network in a professional and productive manner. Paul’s coaching was very effective for me – it changed how I network, communicate, and interview. Nobody else offers anything close in content, breadth and depth. I highly recommend him as a career consultant!

- Brian McCarthy (Engineering Manager at Crane Aerospace)

I attended Paul’s first ProLango career mixer in June 2009 on a recommendation of a friend of mine. I found the format to be really good especially compared to a few other social career mixers I had attended previously. Based on this good event and Paul’s talk, I enrolled in Paul’s “12 week boot camp” the next day. This was an excellent program that focused on resumes, search strategies, networking and interviewing skills. Paul’s experience as a recruiter was very valuable in learning good tips in working with other recruiters. His is a very engaging speaker, knows his topics very well, and helps people to really improve their job search focus, networking and interviewing skills. The boot camp also helped with mock interviews and good debriefs after real interviews. Personally, Paul’s program really helped me to create a good target company search strategy and improve my networking and interviewing skills. Through his program, I was able to do very well in several interviews making it to the “final round”, got several offers and landed a fantastic job that came about 100% through networking. I can’t thank Paul enough for his help in improving my networking and interview skills. I also think very highly of his Career Mixers with their great format that are so much more enjoyable that other formats. Overall I give Paul a very strong recommendation for anyone seeking a job as they will really improve their chances with his techniques and advice.

- Kevin Talbot (Consultant at Golden Wellness, Inc.)

As an academic researcher of social networks and a teacher, I know how difficult it is to “teach” someone how to build networks and relationships in any meaningful way. Paul did this masterfully. I whole-heartedly recommend him as a speaker to any audience who is interested in career development or just wants to create and maintain better relationships.

- Mina Yoo (Assistant Professor at UW Foster School of Business)

After attending Paul’s seminar on Interviewing, I kept my future employer’s interests in mind rather than my own. Following Paul’s advice, I focused on building rapport, learning about the business problems which I could help solve, and making sure that the hiring manager knew I really wanted this job. And I got the job, Paul, thank you!

- Christy Houghton (Programs VP at Association for Women in Computing)

The Prolango networking events Paul has organized in the Seattle area have been invaluable tools in my own job search. It is truly impressive to see the number of people who attend Paul’s functions from both employers and job seekers. Moreover, the advice Paul offers (in his engaging, down-to-Earth style), is very practical. His suggestions for focusing a career search on target employers, building relationships, and social networking have been a great help in my own efforts. I highly recommend Paul’s courses and networking events to both employers and employees alike.

- Michael Surkan (Marketing Director at IntranetSites)

Paul is doing something incredible for the Seattle area jobseeker community. Throughout the summer he has been putting on really useful, free 1-hour seminars in job search strategy, resume writing and interview psychology. Naturally they are teasers for the full day training courses, but still extremely useful. I really learned a lot. On top of that he is organizing "ProLango Mixer" network events that do help people to connect and improve their chances of success. I really appreciate his commitment to giving back to the community.

- Henrik Brameus (Technical Solutions Manager at Innovyx)

Paul’s seminars are very high energy. He doesn’t speak to his audience like many instructors but engages them and lifts them up. Paul is passionate about helping others which is obvious by the fact that he doesn’t just teach but rolls up his sleeves and goes out in the work place to networking socials and job shows to see what is happening and how he can help. This passion very much comes across in his seminars and presentations and makes a difference for those in attendance. I highly recommend Paul’s ProLango Consulting.

- Brenna Louzin (Library Specialist/Consultant at Foster Pepper PLLC)

I first went to the Paul Anderson’s career seminar by thinking, “it might be a waste of time, but you never know.” By the way, I’m one of the people who is “time hungry”; I hate wasting time more than wasting money. There are many career seminars and workshops in which I feel like waste of time 80%, but I go to get the 20% of good information. Paul Anderson’s seminar was the ongoing, “I have to know everything he says.” I could never rest from writing notes. I have gone to his three free seminars, and all of them have good, condense information. The uniqueness of Paul is that he is up-to-date on the job market and the recruiting firms in this crazy economy. He also understands human psychology very well. He uses his knowledge of psychology and applies it to the career coaching. Now, I’m chasing his seminars around like a stalker (to clarify, I’m not personally interested in Paul). I was still skeptical till I met him in person to discuss how I might be able to use his service. He is an expert on what he speaks; but moreover, he is passionate and enjoys what he does. I only do business with people whom I determine that I can trust, and Paul Anderson is one of them. I have just requested Paul to be my personal career coach and will have an individual coaching session soon. I shall update my endorsement with the result from our upcoming coaching session.

- Naomi Ishigaki (Tech Support at VMC)

Personally, the thing that struck me the most about Paul is his genuine desire to help others succeed.
